P.F.Chang says its security breach is under control
by Nathan'ette Burdine: August 12, 2014

Last Monday, P.F. Chang’s issued a press release saying that the company has “contained” the security breach that resulted in customers’ credit and debit cards information being stolen.

Back in June, the company acknowledged that there had been a security breach at some of the restaurants.

Based on information from the August press release, there were 33 restaurants in the U.S. where customers’ credit and debit card information was stolen.

The information stolen from the cards were credit card numbers, the name of the card’s owner, and the expiration date on the card.

P.F. Chang’s stated that the company is continuing its investigation into the situation and that the U.S. Secret Service and outside forensics experts are helping the company with the case.
